I contacted Microsoft and I was told that must rollback to Windows 8.1 and do the upgrade from there. Even though I had paid for windows 8 and it was a perfectly legal copy. But what I did amounted to a clean install and all my old installation was saved in a folder named Windows.old.Īlso when I tried to activate Windows 10, I got a message saying that I must now pay $249 to get a key. The upgrade worked perfectly and the the video card is working just right. Unfortunately I followed that advice and did just that and I am very sorry now. I made a search on internet and found that I could upgrade by loading the last drivers from Nvidia and upgrading from a DVD. Trying to update from Win 8.1 to Win 10, I got a message from MS saying that my video card was not compatible with windows 10.
